Own Revelstoke

We began visiting Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada in the early nineties usually just passing through on the highway as so many people do.  After spending more and more time in town, we have developed a profound passion for the vastness of its world-class ski terrain and the unique lifestyles of the town and surrounding area.  We starting looking for a way to play and work in Revelstoke.  The opportunity came  in the summer of 2008 when our real estate project marketing company, Epic Real Estate Solutions, Inc was asked to manage the marketing and sales of  the real estate at Revelstoke Mountain Resort.  The privilege of working with the Resort prior to its change in ownership established a beachhead to expand our services to other property owners and real estate developers interested in the region.  Our passion has given birth to a concept – how can we help like minded people anchor their love of the lifestyle by real estate ownership? Founded as a mining outpost, Revelstoke appeared on the Canadian map in 1885 when CP Rail completed the first transcontinental railway, linking the east to the west. Battling cold, snow and the mortal force of avalanches, the line was completed after A.B. Rogers discovered a pass through the Selkirks in 1881.

With passage through the mountains attained, photographers and mountaineers flocked to the hotel at Rogers Pass to explore a wilderness previously too remote to access. Over the following years, a paradigm shift fundamental to the identity of much of British Columbia took place: the mountains were no longer viewed as an obstacle to be overcome by surveyors but a playground to be explored. Revestoke is located on the mighty Columbia River and the Trans Canada Highway between the sensational Monashee and Selkirk Mountain ranges.  Bordering on Mount Revelstoke National Park and 45 minutes west of the summit of Rogers Pass and the heart of Glacier National Park.

Craigellachie, the site of the ‘driving of the last spike’ to complete the Canadian Pacific Railway is just a short 30 minute drive west of Revelstoke.  Kelowna International Airport is a short 2.5 hour drive and has direct domestic  flights from Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver and Toronto.
